We the people who are darker than you
…come forward with unique views
…rise up when fires of jealousy-based hatred come with your winds
…become the tallest as we are the survivors of the news
We the people have flipped darkness into light.
Light-darkness flipped
My people, my people…
News of our survival has become a revival song…
Able to leap over the tallest obstacles…
…over your arching attempts to reach into our souls
…we view forward with our uniqueness
…sun lamps can only fake this
We the people…
What you once discarded
We made into delicacies…
Now — not only do you want it back, you have the audacity to claim creative license.
